耶和華對我如此說：「你去買一根麻布帶子束腰，不可放在水中。」
Thus says the LORD to me, “Go and buy a linen loincloth and put it around your waist, and do not dip it in water.”

Thus says the LORD to me, “Go and buy a linen loincloth and put it around your waist, and do not dip it in water.”
我就照著耶和華的話，買了一根帶子束腰。
So I bought a loincloth according to the word of the LORD, and put it around my waist.
耶和華的話第二次臨到我說：
And the word of the LORD came to me a second time,
「要拿著你所買的腰帶，就是你腰上的帶子，起來往
“Take the loincloth that you have bought, which is around your waist, and arise, go to the Euphrates and hide it there in a cleft of the rock.”
我就去，照著耶和華所吩咐我的，將腰帶藏在
So I went and hid it by the Euphrates, as the LORD commanded me.
過了多日，耶和華對我說：「你起來往
And after many days the LORD said to me, “Arise, go to the Euphrates, and take from there the loincloth that I commanded you to hide there.”
我就往
Then I went to the Euphrates, and dug, and I took the loincloth from the place where I had hidden it. And behold, the loincloth was spoiled; it was good for nothing.
耶和華的話臨到我說：
Then the word of the LORD came to me:
「耶和華如此說：我必照樣敗壞
“Thus says the LORD: Even so will I spoil the pride of Judah and the great pride of Jerusalem.
這惡民不肯聽我的話，按自己頑梗的心而行，隨從別神，事奉敬拜，他們也必像這腰帶變為無用。」
This evil people, who refuse to hear my words, who stubbornly follow their own heart and have gone after other gods to serve them and worship them, shall be like this loincloth, which is good for nothing.
耶和華說：「腰帶怎樣緊貼人腰，照樣，我也使
For as the loincloth clings to the waist of a man, so I made the whole house of Israel and the whole house of Judah cling to me, declares the LORD, that they might be for me a people, a name, a praise, and a glory, but they would not listen.
「所以你要對他們說：『耶和華──
“You shall speak to them this word: ‘Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, “Every jar shall be filled with wine.”’ And they will say to you, ‘Do we not indeed know that every jar will be filled with wine?’
你就要對他們說：『耶和華如此說：我必使這地的一切居民，就是坐
Then you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the LORD: Behold, I will fill with drunkenness all the inhabitants of this land: the kings who sit on David's throne, the priests, the prophets, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
耶和華說：「我要使他們彼此相碰，就是父與子彼此相碰；我必不可憐，不顧惜，不憐憫，以致滅絕他們。」
And I will dash them one against another, fathers and sons together, declares the LORD. I will not pity or spare or have compassion, that I should not destroy them.’”
你們當聽，當側耳而聽。不要驕傲，因為耶和華已經說了。
Hear and give ear; be not proud, for the LORD has spoken.
耶和華──你們的神未使黑暗來到，你們的腳未在昏暗山上絆跌之先，當將榮耀歸給他；免得你們盼望光明，他使光明變為死蔭，成為幽暗。
Give glory to the LORD your God before he brings darkness, before your feet stumble on the twilight mountains, and while you look for light he turns it into gloom and makes it deep darkness.
你們若不聽這話，我必因你們的驕傲在暗地哭泣；我眼必痛哭流淚，因為耶和華的群眾被擄去了。
But if you will not listen, my soul will weep in secret for your pride; my eyes will weep bitterly and run down with tears, because the LORD's flock has been taken captive.
你要對君王和太后說：你們當自卑，坐在下邊；因你們的頭巾，就是你們的華冠，已經脫落了。
Say to the king and the queen mother: “Take a lowly seat, for your beautiful crown has come down from your head.”
南方的城盡都關閉，無人開放；
The cities of the Negeb are shut up, with none to open them; all Judah is taken into exile, wholly taken into exile.
你們要舉目觀看從北方來的人。先前賜給你的群眾，就是你佳美的群眾，如今在哪裏呢？
“Lift up your eyes and see those who come from the north. Where is the flock that was given you, your beautiful flock?
耶和華立你自己所交的朋友為首，轄制你，那時你還有甚麼話說呢？痛苦豈不將你抓住像產難的婦人嗎？
What will you say when they set as head over you those whom you yourself have taught to be friends to you? Will not pangs take hold of you like those of a woman in labor?
你若心裏說：這一切事為何臨到我呢？你的衣襟揭起，你的腳跟受傷，是因你的罪孽甚多。
And if you say in your heart, ‘Why have these things come upon me?’ it is for the greatness of your iniquity that your skirts are lifted up and you suffer violence.
Can the Ethiopian change his skin or the leopard his spots? Then also you can do good who are accustomed to do evil.
所以我必用曠野的風吹散他們，像吹過的碎秸一樣。
I will scatter you like chaff driven by the wind from the desert.
耶和華說：這是你所當得的，是我量給你的分；因為你忘記我，倚靠虛假〔或作「偶像」〕。
This is your lot, the portion I have measured out to you, declares the LORD, because you have forgotten me and trusted in lies.
所以我要揭起你的衣襟，蒙在你臉上，顯出你的醜陋。
I myself will lift up your skirts over your face, and your shame will be seen.
你那些可憎惡之事──就是在田野的山上行姦淫，發嘶聲，做淫亂的事──我都看見了。
I have seen your abominations, your adulteries and neighings, your lewd whorings, on the hills in the field. Woe to you, O Jerusalem! How long will it be before you are made clean?”
