拋散在日頭、月亮，和天上眾星之下，就是他們從前所喜愛、所事奉、所隨從、所求問、所敬拜的。這些骸骨不再收殮，不再葬埋，必在地面上成為糞土；
And they shall be spread before the sun and the moon and all the host of heaven, which they have loved and served, which they have gone after, and which they have sought and worshiped. And they shall not be gathered or buried. They shall be as dung on the surface of the ground.
並且這惡族所剩下的民在我所趕他們到的各處，寧可揀死不揀生。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。」
Death shall be preferred to life by all the remnant that remains of this evil family in all the places where I have driven them, declares the LORD of hosts.
你要對他們說，耶和華如此說：人跌倒，不再起來嗎？人轉去，不再轉來嗎？
“You shall say to them, Thus says the LORD: When men fall, do they not rise again? If one turns away, does he not return?

I have paid attention and listened, but they have not spoken rightly; no man relents of his evil, saying, ‘What have I done?’ Everyone turns to his own course, like a horse plunging headlong into battle.
空中的鸛鳥知道來去的定期；斑鳩燕子與白鶴也守候當來的時令；我的百姓卻不知道耶和華的法則。
Even the stork in the heavens knows her times, and the turtledove, swallow, and crane keep the time of their coming, but my people know not the rules of the LORD.
你們怎麼說：我們有智慧，耶和華的律法在我們這裏？看哪，文士的假筆舞弄虛假。
“How can you say, ‘We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us’? But behold, the lying pen of the scribes has made it into a lie.
智慧人慚愧，驚惶，被擒拿；他們棄掉耶和華的話，心裏還有甚麼智慧呢？
The wise men shall be put to shame; they shall be dismayed and taken; behold, they have rejected the word of the LORD, so what wisdom is in them?
所以我必將他們的妻子給別人，將他們的田地給別人為業；因為他們從最小的到至大的都一味地貪婪，從先知到祭司都行事虛謊。
Therefore I will give their wives to others and their fields to conquerors, because from the least to the greatest everyone is greedy for unjust gain; from prophet to priest, everyone deals falsely.
他們輕輕忽忽地醫治我百姓的損傷，說：平安了！平安了！其實沒有平安。
They have healed the wound of my people lightly, saying, ‘Peace, peace,’ when there is no peace.
他們行可憎的事知道慚愧嗎？不然，他們毫不慚愧，也不知羞恥。因此他們必在仆倒的人中仆倒；我向他們討罪的時候，他們必致跌倒。這是耶和華說的。
Were they ashamed when they committed abomination? No, they were not at all ashamed; they did not know how to blush. Therefore they shall fall among the fallen; when I punish them, they shall be overthrown, says the LORD.
耶和華說：我必使他們全然滅絕；葡萄樹上必沒有葡萄，無花果樹上必沒有果子，葉子也必枯乾。我所賜給他們的，必離開他們過去。
When I would gather them, declares the LORD, there are no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree; even the leaves are withered, and what I gave them has passed away from them.”
我們為何靜坐不動呢？我們當聚集，進入堅固城，在那裏靜默不言；因為耶和華──我們的神使我們靜默不言，又將苦膽水給我們喝，都因我們得罪了耶和華。
Why do we sit still? Gather together; let us go into the fortified cities and perish there, for the LORD our God has doomed us to perish and has given us poisoned water to drink, because we have sinned against the LORD.
我們指望平安，卻得不著好處；指望痊癒的時候，不料，受了驚惶。
We looked for peace, but no good came; for a time of healing, but behold, terror.

“The snorting of their horses is heard from Dan; at the sound of the neighing of their stallions the whole land quakes. They come and devour the land and all that fills it, the city and those who dwell in it.
看哪，我必使毒蛇到你們中間，是不服法術的，必咬你們。這是耶和華說的。
For behold, I am sending among you serpents, adders that cannot be charmed, and they shall bite you,” declares the LORD.
我有憂愁，願能自慰；我心在我裏面發昏。
My joy is gone; grief is upon me; my heart is sick within me.
聽啊，是我百姓的哀聲從極遠之地而來，說：耶和華不在
Behold, the cry of the daughter of my people from the length and breadth of the land: “Is the LORD not in Zion? Is her King not in her?” “Why have they provoked me to anger with their carved images and with their foreign idols?”
麥秋已過，夏令已完，我們還未得救！
“The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.”
